Last week turned out to be a really enjoyable week. Although there are several factors that have contributed to my recent surge in happiness, the first thing on my list is the improvement in how it feels outside. For as long as I can remember, I have always liked Spring, and this year has gone the same way.

Now, the improvement in the weather is not the only reason I’m feeling good. Surprisingly, two separate but good things happened to me in just one week. I was so excited when last week arrived because of an event that I had been waiting to attend. I have been a fan of Alkaline Trio for more years than I can count, and I got to attend their concert last week. This was the first time that they had come to my city, and I would have paid for my ticket just to hear Alkaline Trio play Help Me.

Even though it can’t quite compare to the Alkaline Trio concert, I did have another good thing happen last week. Because I was feeling good, I decided to give myself a treat. I spent the day out and about shopping, and at the end I brought a piece of 14K gold jewelry home. While my piece of 14K gold jewelry wasn’t cheap, I know that it’s something that’s going to continue to make me happy for a long time to come. Life has been dealing me some bad hands, but I am happy to say that my luck has officially taken a turn for the better.

For the last two months, I felt like I was in a pretty major slump. The reason that I felt this way is because it seemed like nothing was going right from me. From falling behind at work to encounter multiple problems in my personal life, I really felt like I couldn’t catch a break. Fortunately, over the last week or so, it seems like things are turning around for me. Not only is the weather outside beginning to get warm again, but it feels like my life is getting back on track.

Since I have had such a good week, I wanted to get a little something to commemorate this great turn around. Last night, when I got off of work, I headed up to the mall to see what I could find. I grabbed my favorite snack from the snack court, and then headed off to do some shopping. As I was looking at different things, I came across a piece of 14K gold jewelry that caught my eye. The reason it caught my eye is because it was a necklace with a four-leaf clover on it. Since I felt like my luck was good again as a result of spring arriving, I decided this was the perfect piece of jewelry for me to buy that night!

I hope that you enjoyed Christmas as much as I did this year. Although I feel like I gained about five pounds over the course of two or three days, I have to admit that I had an amazing time. While Christmas has never been a holiday that I disliked, there have been years when I didn’t feel like I really enjoyed myself during this season. Fortunately, 2008 was a really good year in my life, so when the Christmas season arrived, I was able to enjoy it to its fullest extent.

Because I have a lot of family members, we actually spread our celebration over Christmas Eve and Day. One side of my family spends Christmas Eve together, while the other side spends Christmas Day together. I really enjoy this arrangement, because it allows everyone to enjoy their time together without feeling rushed.

While presents aren’t what I focus on during this time of the year, I do have to say that I loved the gift my husband got me. He picked out a piece of 14K gold jewelry for me, and I like it so much that I have already been wearing it.

Speaking of my birthday, I just had it a little over two months ago. I don’t always look forward to my birthday, but I was definitely excited this year. Quite a few months before my birthday, I had decided that I wanted to plan something really fun. I talked with several of my friends about different ideas for what we could do on my birthday, and we came up with the idea that it would be fun for us all to take a weekend trip to Las Vegas.

Since what happens in Las Vegas stays in Vegas, I’m not going to talk about the specifics of our trip, but I will say that the eleven of us who went had an amazing time. In addition to having a great weekend with my closest friends, I also got several new pieces of 14K gold jewelry, and I have enjoyed wearing them quite regularly since my birthday.

Jewelery has always been something that I have enjoyed wearing. Whether it’s just a simple pair of earrings or a really flashy necklace, I like being able to accessorize the clothing that I wear with different pieces of jewelry. The cool thing about jewelry is that you can wear the same outfit on two occasions, but by wearing different pieces of jewelry with that outfit, you can make yourself look completely different on both of the occasions.

When it comes to the type of jewelry that I like to wear, I don’t have one specific style that I always stick to. In fact, I am the complete opposite of this. I like a lot of variety in my life, and my collection of jewelry is no exception to this. For example, I may wear a couple pieces of silver jewelry on one day, and then the next day I will be wearing 14K gold jewelry. I guess what it really comes down to is which pieces of jewelry I feel look the best with a specific outfit. I mean, a piece of jewelry may look stunning with a certain outfit, but that doesn’t mean that it will look great with every single outfit.
